We have found the balloon

Have been drawing a bit more, but most of it's not been too great (Turns out getting better at photoshop does not, in fact, make your pencil rendering skills any better)

In any case, this turned out well enough to post. A response to prompt "Metalized Samurai observing a child with a balloon in the arctic cold".
